After the initial offer acceptance deadline, CPS opens a Rolling Waitlist. Students who were not offered an SEHS seat initially may be placed on waitlists for the programs they qualified for, but they are not notified of their waitlist position. However, students who decline a selective enrollment offer can join the Rolling Waitlist for a chance to receive an offer from a higher-ranked program. Waitlists remain active until the 20th day of the new school year.
