Store your original ISO files in cleanly labeled folders sorted by release date (e.g., INCAL_October_2025) to prevent mixing old and new calibration versions.
Key capabilities and workflow
Always connect a battery charger to the vehicle before starting an ECM flash. A drop in voltage during a V7 calibration transfer will interrupt the process and cause ECM failure.
If you install INSITE v7 today but have an engine built after 2016, the software may not recognize newer ECM part numbers or emission strategies. You need an Incal update that is compatible with v7—which Cummins stopped releasing after 2018. For pre-2017 engines, v7 is golden.
