This is the GameBase Amiga project. GameBase Amiga is a collection of data and scripts to be used with the GameBase emulator frontend. It allows you to browse games with screenshots and a lot of extra information and run them with the WinUAE Amiga emulator with ideal pre-defined settings for a hassle free playing experience.
Please note: This project is not affiliated with the GamebaseAMY project (GameBaseAMY website defunct; archived version available at the Internet Archive).
: Projects like those by PhoenixStudiosYT or otama studios on itch.io attempt to recreate the specific environment and mechanics of the 2016 Alpha 1 build for Android.
Protect your device by sticking to the official releases on the Google Play Store and App Store, and leave the classic Alpha 1 exploration to the safety of your PC.
These ports often attempt to recreate the specific two-floor house and carnival tutorial from the 2016 PC Alpha.
Before tinyBuild polished the game for its official release, Alpha 1 served as the public testing ground developed by Dynamic Pixels. It remains a fan-favorite build because it plays like an entirely separate game rather than an unfinished prototype.
Because Alpha 1 is a legacy build, it is not hosted directly on standard storefronts like Google Play. You must rely on community repositories or third-party archives to download the package.
Hello Neighbor Alpha 1 is the first official Alpha build of the game. It was released in the early days of development as a free "proof of concept" to showcase the core mechanics. Unlike later, more polished versions, Alpha 1 retains a raw, experimental feel. It features a very basic house, fundamental gameplay elements, and the initial version of the AI that would later define the franchise.
Before Hello Neighbor became a polished, multi-chapter release, tinyBuild and Dynamic Pixels shared early development builds with the public. Released on PC in late 2016, Alpha 1 introduced the core mechanics that defined the franchise. The Nostalgic Two-Story House
This guide breaks down what Alpha 1 actually is, the reality behind these mobile exclusive claims, and how to stay safe while enjoying the game on your phone. What is Hello Neighbor Alpha 1?
