The last two digits of a part number matter. Distinction numbers indicate color, material, or manufacturing process differences. A part with distinction number "00" may look identical to one with "01" but have different color or fitment characteristics.

Ordering parts using standard catalog lookups frequently leads to purchasing components with incorrect plug orientations, wrong bracket offsets, or incompatible electrical resistances.
