The narrative of Severa’s revenge is structured around three distinct, brutal phases targeting those who betrayed her and their descendants. Phase 1: The Fall of the Mortal Kings
Once you have freedom of movement within the castle wings, the game opens up.
Being banished to the void or the mortal realm to be forgotten.
You play as a renowned hero who once attempted to slay the Goddess Severa, a giantess deity known for her cruelty and desire to dominate. You failed. Rather than killing you, she has shrunk you down to the size of a doll (or kept you human-sized but powerless) and imprisoned you in her domain—a massive, mystical nursery/castle designed to break your spirit.
The revenge of Goddess Severa was swift and merciless. She began by summoning a terrible storm, one that ravaged the land and destroyed the crops. The mortals, who had once relied on her powers for their sustenance, now cowered in fear as their fields withered and died.
Severa acts not out of malice, but from a warped sense of retribution—a goddess of revenge trying to restore balance.
In a calculated act of desecration, Alistair ordered his soldiers to destroy Severa’s high temple, slaughter her priesthood, and melt down her golden statues to fund his expanding military campaigns. To seal his new pact, the king publicly renounced Severa at the city gates, declaring that humanity had outgrown her laws and no longer required her blessings.
