Born on July 30, 1973, in Faridabad, Sonu Nigam began his musical journey at the tender age of four, accompanying his father—a singer himself—on stage. However, his career officially took off in the 1990s. While he initially started with covers of legendary singers like Mohammed Rafi in the Bewafa Sanam album series (released between 1993 and 1994), it was the 1997 blockbuster that changed everything.
